HISTORY

The Beginning
Werner Frank Enterprises was founded in 1946 by Werner Frank, an independent sales rep traveling seven southern states.  His wife, Lyn Frank, was a key factor in the growth of the business as she managed the day-to-day operations while Werner traveled the large territory. As sales grew, expansion was needed and several additional sales associates were added over the years. 

One of the first AmericasMart tenants
When the Atlanta Merchandise Mart, now known as AmericasMart, opened in 1964, Werner Frank was one of the original tenants.  In 1967, Werner incorporated the business and made a revolutionary decision to make all sales associates employees, offering them employee benefits including health insurance and profit sharing.  When the Gift Mart, now known as AmericasMart Building 2, opened in 1991, Werner Frank was again one of the first tenants.  history_jessie_and_michele_web.jpg

Full-time territory managers provide the most effective coverage
Werner's success, both as a road rep and then as a business leader, established the best practices for what Werner Frank is today: a strong, successful and respected sales agency servicing the needs of both retailers and vendors.  Werner Frank's Territory Managers are full-time, exclusive employees who sell only from the Werner Frank line package.  Werner Frank offers unusually effective coverage provided by our outstanding sales force and an open-daily, permanent showroom in the most active building in AmericasMart.

Currently run by the second generation and still going strong
Today, Werner Frank is owned and operated by Werner's two daughters, Jessie Frank and Michele Frank Rapp.
